Welcome to St. Mary’s School and thank you for your interest in our school.
Everyone at St. Mary’s School works hard to create an exciting, stimulating and caring environment, to enable each boy and girl to reach his/her full potential. All our pupils are also expected to make their own contribution to school life. .
To achieve this we’ve developed an Admissions process which looks at a pupil’s current and potential academic ability as well as whether he will be happy in our boarding environment. We welcome boys and girls from all strata’s of life to come and enhance their knowledge .
Students of all ages can apply to St. Mary’s School at the time of announcement of admission by the school in the beginning of the session that is in the month of January . School has all the rights to close the admission at any moment of time .
The admissions process helps us to ensure we have the right match between what you are looking for in a school and what we hope for in a student.
Through the process of a visit, test papers, interviews we hope to provide you an opportunity to get to know us and for us to learn more about you and your child.
Families can begin the application process by completing the registration form. This form can either be picked up from the admission office or it can be e-mailed to your account.
The Admission team would require the filled form along with the following documents to start the admission process:• A recommendation letter from their previous school
• Their final school grades from the past year of the last institution attached and duly attested by the Head of the institute.
Students from Grade 6 to 12 are shortlisted on the basis of their past school records and teacher recommendations. Students from Grade 6 onwards would be expected to come to St Mary’s School for an assessment. Post the assessment, students would be asked to come in for an interview with the Academic Head.
Once the above process has been completed, parents would be notified of the decision within seven working days. The school would offer admission to students whose record indicates that they will succeed in our academic programme. We would also be looking the talents on other fields, personality and self-confidence.
If places are not available for that particular grade then the student would be placed in a waiting pool.
